• Total grade = homework 30% + midterm 30% + final 40%

• Each week there will be 6-8 problems assigned. The submission of homework will be done as follows. The students will have to write up their solutions and submit their write-ups to Anton Bernshteyn in the weekly problem sessions, during which they will also be asked to present at least one solution on the board. The presentations must be short, presenting only the main idea of the solution rather than its details.
• To accomodate everyone in class, there will be two problem sessions held every Tuesday at different times (see above for times and rooms). Each student has to go to one of these sessions, whichever fits their schedule better. It is also OK to go to both.
