I have been a member of the Applied Mathematics Group in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McGill since 2002. I am also an associate member of the Department of Physiology, and a researcher in Quantitative Life Sciences. I can supervise students in any of these programs, and am recruiting students on an ongoing basis to work on projects related to my NSERC funded research program "mathematical modelling of human hematopoiesis."

I am also a member of the Centre for Applied Mathematics in Bioscience and Medicine (CAMBAM) and of the Applied Mathematics Laboratory of the Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM).

My research lies in the areas of mathematical modelling, numerical analysis and dynamical systems, often at the intersection of all three. Current and recent projects mainly focus on mathematical modelling of hematopoiesis, and investigating the dynamics, bifurcations and numerical analysis of the resulting delay differential equations including equations with state-dependent and distributed delays. I am an academic editor for PLOS One.
