Hiring
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is currently hiring in applied mathematics.
The appointment is expected to be in numerical analysis within the broad area of differential equations and scientific computing.
Further details are here.

Research Students & Postdocs
Potential postdocs are encouraged to apply to the CRM-ISM Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme,
see the ISM website for details (please
also send a copy of the full application to me, if you want to work with me).
Potential graduate students must follow the application procedure as detailed at the
McGill Mathematics website.
But if you are in or near Montreal, interested in working with me, and have a suitable
background, Id like to hear from you. I am particularly looking for students interested
in working on aspects of delay differential equations or mixed type equations (differential
equations with advances and delays). Potential graduate students may be interested in the
Winter school in pure and applied math in January 2010.
