In July 2015 I turned in my Ph.D. thesis. It's title is Stark-Heegner points attached to Cartan non-split groups. Most of this work was written at the SecondCup on Milton and Parc, where the friendly baristas kept encouraging me through my long days and nights typing. Special thanks to Daniel Kohen, who helped me work out many technical details of this work.
In 2006, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Colombian Math Olympiad Program, alongside María Losada, a few former students from the Olympiad Program embarked on a mission to publish a series of books. Given my preference for Number Theory, I got that one. I took a manuscript Fabio Brochero compiled while he was an instructor at the Colombian Math Olympiad Program. I updated some material, added some extra and edited what he had typed. At the end of 2006 we published the book Un recorrido por la Teoría de Números, which means "A journey through Number Theory".
In 2009 I started a project on writing a solutions manual to the previous book. I was supposed to finish that same year but I got caught up in work. Fortunately, I somehow managed to keep typing and by the end of 2011 I finished writing. I received help from a lot of people, especially José Alejandro Samper and Marianna Mao. María Losada finished editing it in early 2012 and we published Solucionario. Un Recorrido por la Teoría de Números in July (2012).
In 2008, as a B.Sc. graduation requirement, I wrote a thesis. The title was Soluciones Racionales a Ecuaciones Polinomiales: Una aproximación al Principio de Hasse, which means "Rational Solutions to Polynomial Equations: An approximation to Hasse Principle".
