I was a PhD student in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McGill University under the supervision of Professor Henri Darmon . My research area is Number Theory and my thesis was on Darmon points (or Stark-Heegner, as he made me refer to them officially) when there are inert primes in the real quadratic base field where the elliptic curve has additive reduction.
