Assessment and coursework
Means of Assessment:
5% written assignments + 70% problem session presentations
+ 25% final presentation.
Written assignments:
There will be 6 homework assignments, each containing 10–14 problems.
Students must submit their written solutions to Crowdmark, where they
will be graded for completion.
Problem session presentations:
There will be 6 problem sessions corresponding to the 6 assignments.
The TA will ask each of you to present your solutions at the board.
The mark will be based on both correctness of the solution
(2 points) and quality of presentation (2 points). The detailed
logistics of the problem sessions are explained in a separate document
provided by the TA.
Final presentation:
Each student will learn and present a research article (or part of one).
