Grading scheme

• Total grade = problem presentations 50% + active attendance 50%

Homework and problem sessions

• Starting Oct 5, each week there will be 5-7 problems assigned as homework. The students will have to present their solutions on the board in the weekly problem sessions. The presentations must be short, presenting only the main idea of the solution rather than its details. Thus, the students must have written up their solutions beforehand to ensure smooth and short presentation.
