Colour is so misleading in photos - here is the "Hidden Treasures"
quilt taken in different lights:

<P>None is really very accurate, though the 
<a href="http://www.math.mcgill.ca/rags/Lis/Quilts/HiddenTreasures.jpg">big 
image</a> is reasonably close (not enough green, for example, and it's still too dark).

<P>But one should remember with reproductions: the colours are just
approximations of reality.  That's true for all these quilts ...
