The quilt shown hanging behind the cats in "Quilts and Cats(1)" was
made by Lis' mother Alix Clemens.  In a curious reverse of tradition,
Alix was introduced to quilting by Lis (though of course, Alix
introduced Lis to sewing many many years earlier, when Lis was a
child).
