N=2 Jeometry And ApplicationZ workshop

June 20-22, 2012

The Center for High Energy Physics at McGill University is hosting a three day workshop: "N=2 JAAZ".  The event will take place in Montreal, Canada, starting on Wednesday June 20 and ending on Friday June 22, 2012.

The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers working in this area, providing an opportunity to coalesce and strengthen the progress in our field.

The topics covered at this event will likely include:

  • Seiberg-Witten theory and Gaiotto's N=2 theories, and its understanding in M-, F-, and IIA, IIB theories
  • Alday-Gaiotto-Tachikawa correspondence relating a certain class of 4-dimensional N=2 superconformal theories with 2-dimensional (bosonic) conformal theories of Liouville type,
  • Nekrasov-Shatashvili relation between Omega-deformed N=2 theories and quantum integrable systems.

A PDF of the program (almost finalized) and the list of abstracts (to be expanded) is also available.

Workshop Organizers:

Keshav Dasgupta, Jihye Seo, and Johannes Walcher
