Topics.
We will consider theoretical aspects of enumerative and algebraic combinatorics
as well as their applications.

Pre-requisites.
This course is primarily aimed at higher level undergraduate honours students and graduate students in mathematics
or computer science. No formal experience with these topics will be needed, but a strong mathematical background is necessary.
Textbook.
The course text will be A Course in Combinatorics by J. van Lint and R. Wilson.
Assignments.
Course grades will be based upon assignments (25%) and a final exam (75%).
