You can find my CV here.
My interest in teaching Mathematics began in high school, when I worked both as a private tutor in a multitude of subjects and at a weekly math olympiad-style seminar.
I have been an Instructor at the Colombian Math Olympiad Program since 2005, mainly teaching Number Theory. Additionally, I also taught other subjects, namely, Algebra, Geometry and Combinatorics. This institution, together with my high school Los Cerros, has instilled in me the love and passion for Mathematics that has guided my career path.
In 2009 I became an Instructor at AwesomeMath Summer Program, based at the University of Texas at Dallas. I worked as a Mentor in 2007 and an Academic Assistant in 2008. When the camp extended to University of California, Santa Cruz in 2009 and to Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York in 2011, I joined the academic team as an Instructor at these campuses. Since then, I have worked at the AwesomeMath Summer Program each year.
During my undergraduate studies at Universidad de los Andes, I both taught and TAed Calculus courses. As a graduate student at McGill University, I have TAed Calculus several times, during one of which I recieved the departmental TA award in Mathematics and Statistics.
