Academic Information for Graduate Students

To All New Graduate Students:

The following is a checklist of what you need to know and do in preparation for your study at the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at McGill University. Please note that classes start on September 1, 2009.


  1. All new students must register on MINERVA for both the Fall 2009 and Winter 2010 terms, by adding the Registration Confirmation (REGN RCGR) course for each term (Fall 2009 = 200909, CRN # 2334; Winter 2010 = 201001, CRN # 2262) during the official registration period from July 14, 2009 to September 1, 2009, otherwise they will be charged a late registration fee. Please note that this is NOT the same as registering for your graduate courses. The purpose of the above is to initiate a registration for each term.
