Current Fields of Interest:
I am interested in theoretical and numerical analysis
of nonlinear partial differential equations.
Topics of my research include the asymptotic behavior of solutions,
stability theory, phase transition problem for physical models like viscous conservation laws,
Navier-Stokes equations, hydrodynamic equations for semiconductors,
nonlinear waves (travelling wave, shock wave, rarefaction wave, diffusion
wave, dispersive wave), KdV-type equations, time-delayed reaction-diffusion equations,
population dynamics,
and so on.
My research is supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering
Research Council of Canada (NSERC). I am also looking for some suitable
graduates (master and Ph.D students) and postdoc fellows.
