Note that p. 48 of the lab manual contains a diagram in which some diagonal
lines must be added by hand.  The diagram looks roughly like this:

a16 etc.

These lines should be drawn on the master copy before multiple copies are made.


    The file tppgms2.exe is a self-extracting archive file.
To extract the Turbo Pascal programs from it:

    1) Copy tppgms2.exe into a hard disk directory (or
       subdirectory) containing at least 3M free space.
    2) Log into that directory.
    2) Type:
                       tpprgms2 <Enter>
    3) Be patient.
    4) You will find that two new subdirectories have
       been created.  One contains all the source code,
       and the other all the compiled code.
    5) If this process failed, then the most likely explanation is that
       you forgot to transfer tppgms2.exe in binary mode.  (When connected
       to ftp, type the command ``type binary''.)
    5) Since the file tppgms2.exe occupies 1.3M of space, 
       you may wish to delete it after it has finished
       running.  To do this, type:
                       del tpprgms2.exe <Enter>

customize it for their own use.  Any errors or bugs
