I have recently joined University of Northern British Columbia as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

I was a postdoctoral fellow at McGill University working with Prof. Jean-Christophe Nave and Prof. Gantumur Tsogtgerel. I obtained my Ph.D. in applied mathematics at Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal in 2014 under the guidance of Prof. Marc Laforest and Prof. Frédéric Sirois.

I am interested in numerical analysis. Currently, I am working on:

  • adaptive FEM for the p-curl problem from high temperature superconductivity
  • conservative and structure-preserving discretizations

I was involved in co-organizing a CMS winter session on “Recent Advances in Structure-Preserving Discretizations” and a 5-day BIRS workshop on “Connections in Geometric Numerical Integration and Structure-Preserving Discretization
